A story about
If there is one festival the feet and toes love it’s Simchat Torah! They get to partake in the great mitzvah of dancing with the Torah. Last year on Simchat Torah there were hundreds of people dancing with the Torah but Tav was scared to go in the middle of the dancing as he recently hurt his toe and was worried it may get stepped on. But unexpectedly an elderly man with a long white beard emerged out of the dancing circle holding a Torah. He came over to Tav and asked if Tav would like to hold the Torah and dance with it. Excitingly Tav said Todah (Thanks) and took the Torah. Together with the kind man Tav entered the dancing circle holding the Torah and danced with much joy and excitement into the late hours of the night. After Tav got home late that night, it could still feel its feet and toes tapping to the Simchat Torah songs playing in its head and knew how happy they would feel in being able to partake in the special Mitzvah of dancing on Simchat Torah. After all that dancing Tav was so hungry, Tav then ate a Tapuach (Apple), said the Shema and went to sleep.
